Ben Higgins

American reality star Ben Higgins was born Benjamin Edward Higgins on March 23, 1989 in Warsaw, Indiana. Higgins grew up in Indiana and graduated from Indiana University in 2012 with a degree in business administration and management. His first appearance on reality television came as a contestant on the eleventh season of "The Bachelorette" (ABC, 2003- ) in 2015. He made it to week 8 and left as the second runner-up. Higgins was then announced as the Bachelor for the 20th season of "The Bachelor" (ABC, 2002- ). Higgins and the winner, a flight attendant named Lauren Bushnell, were engaged to be married at the end of the season in 2016. The couple had a reality show of their own for one season titled, "Ben and Lauren, Happily Ever After?" (Freeform, 2016). The show was canceled after the couple announced they had broken up. Ben Higgins returned to the screen in 2018 to participate in "The Bachelor Winter Games" (ABC, 2018).
