Billy Gray
Billy Gray became an actor when he was just eight years old. In his early acting career, Gray appeared in such films as "Specter of the Rose" (1946) with Judith Anderson, the Pat O'Brien drama "Fighting Father Dunne" (1948) and the Dennis O'Keefe drama "Abandoned" (1949). He also appeared in the comedy "Father Is a Bachelor" (1950) with William Holden, the Vaughn Monroe western "Singing Guns" (1950) and the drama "Between Midnight and Dawn" (1950) with Mark Stevens. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the sci-fi motion picture "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951) with Michael Rennie, "Talk About a Stranger" (1952) and the drama "All I Desire" (1953) with Barbara Stanwyck. He also appeared in "The Seven Little Foys" (1955) with Bob Hope. Gray was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor (Continuing Character) In a Primetime Emmy Award for "Father Knows Best" in 1959. He also was featured in the TV movie "Hitler's SS: Portrait in Evil" (NBC, 1984). Gray most recently appeared on "Child Stars: Their Story" (A&E Network, 2000-01).
