Actor Blair Jackson first came to attention in high school horror "Varsity Blood" (2014) before portraying real-life police officer Houston McCoy in Keith Maitland's award-winning documentary "Tower" (2016). Born and raised in Texas, Houston made his on-screen debut playing a skateboarder in religious drama "Inside Out" (2011), but his first notable role arrived three years later when he was cast as jerk jock Blaine Bochner in "Varsity Blood" (2014), a Halloween horror in which a bunch of students are terrorised by their high school mascot at a remote farmhouse. Jackson then appeared in "Euphoria" (2014), a short film about a grieving computer engineer who uses virtual reality technology to revive the memory of his late wife, and "Specks of Gray" (2015), a 15-minute drama about the final conscious days of a recently-diagnosed CJD sufferer. Jackson significantly raised his profile when he played Houston McCoy, the heroic police officer who ended the 1966 University of Texas Tower shootings when he fatally wounded sniper Charles Whitman, in the SXSW Grand Jury-winning documentary "Tower" (2016). A year later, Jackson appeared as Connor in "Round of Your Life" (2017), a faith-based drama about a teenager attempting to follow in the footsteps of his PGA Major winner father.
