Carrie Henn

Carrie Henn, born May 7, 1976, in Panama City, Florida, is best known for her iconic role as Newt in the science fiction classic "Aliens" (1986), directed by James Cameron. Her portrayal of the resourceful and resilient young girl earned her widespread recognition and a Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor, despite it being her first and only acting role. After the success of "Aliens," Henn chose to step away from acting and focus on her education. She went on to attend California State University, Stanislaus, where she earned a degree in liberal studies and later pursued a career as a teacher, dedicating her life to education and working with young children. Over the years, Henn has made occasional appearances at science fiction conventions and special events, engaging with fans of the Alien franchise.
