Charles Young
Charles Young was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "The Gun and the Pulpit" (1973), "The Hatfields and the McCoys" (ABC, 1974-75) and "Outside Chance" (CBS, 1978-79). He also acted in various film roles at the time, appearing in the action picture "Penitentiary" (1980) with Leon Isaac Kennedy and the Richard Gere crime flick "The Cotton Club" (1984). Several more television roles followed in the eighties and the nineties, including stints on "Perfect Strangers" (1985-1993), "Big Wave Dave's" (CBS, 1992-93) and "Walker, Texas Ranger" (CBS, 1992-2001). He also appeared in the TV special "Frozen Music: The Making of a Concert Hall" (PBS, 1990-91). As his entertainment career progressed, he appeared in the action flick "Beastmaster 2: Through the Portal of Time" (1991) with Marc Singer. Young focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "Legend" (UPN, 1994-95) and "Moloney" (CBS, 1996-97). Young's music was most recently used in "I Think I Love My Wife" (2007) with Chris Rock. He also was featured in the TV movies "Blue Rodeo" (1996-97), "Vanishing Point" (Fox, 1996-97) and "Point Last Seen" (CBS, 1998-99).
