      Birthplace: Kingston Springs, Tennessee, USA

US Army veteran, family man and country music artist Craig Morgan was born on July 17, 1964 in Kingston Springs, Tennessee. At the age of 18 he enlisted in the United States Army as an emergency medical technician. After nearly 10 years of active duty Morgan returned to the Nashville area and got a job singing demos which led to a deal with Atlantic Records to release his own album, "Craig Morgan" (2000). His debut was an immediate success, with the single "Something to Write Home About" charting on the Billboard Hot Country Songs list. He followed it quickly with his sophomore album, "I Love It" (2003) which sold over 300,000 copies within its first year. Morgan's third album "My Kind of Livin'" (2004) debuted his most popular song to date "That's What I Love About Sunday" which spent four weeks in the number one spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs list. In 2008, he became a member and regular performer with the Grand Ole Opry as he continued to release popular albums and live performances. After his son died tragically in a tubing accident, Morgan wrote and performed "The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost" (2019); as a tribute to his son and a representation of his grief. Putting his military training to the test, Morgan joined the celebrity cast of "Beyond the Edge" (CBS, 2022), a survival competition for charity that took place in the Panamanian jungle. Throughout his career, Morgan has performed at military bases and USO shows abroad. He has raised money for The Special Operations Warrior Foundation and his own organization: The Craig Morgan Charity Fund. In 2023, Craig Morgan re-enlisted in the US Army Reserve, live on stage at the Grand Ole Opry.
