H D Some inexperienced acting but overall enjoyable for the whole family. Davy Crockett led an incredible life, something should have been very easy to make an incredible film about. However, these filmmakers made up a totally fictitious story and made it completely unrealistic. These filmmakers should be ashamed of themselves, pathetic showing. Takes her out to the field. Says I have to leave you and get kids. Kisses her goodbye and leaves her in the middle of a field with .5 blanket, no food or water, no shelter and shes ill! Lots of parts that left you wandering. Shot horse because of wolfs were attacking. He leans back against tree near the horse and wolfs don't attack. Such a poorly done movie. I love a good historical movie. I love a movie with a good plot. I love a good movie that makes you said to see it end. This, was not any of those. It’s as if they spend the entire budget on the sets and the costumes and then headed to Dollar tree for everything else. If you can’t make the movie make sense, don’t make it. If you can’t give a beloved historical figure the least bit of accuracy, Don’t make the movie. I spent more time wanting to pull my hair out and rolling my eyes why laughing at the absurdity of this fiasco than I’d like to admit. Such a stupid movie. That said, my husband must have a very high tolerance for dumb movies, he really liked it. But than he likes me too. I’m now questioning our relationship. Rated 1/5 Stars •  Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/06/24 Full Review Martha D I am just shocked by how bad this film is. I had to turn it off after the first 15 min. The premise of this part was that Davy shoots his own horse while trying to shoot some not at all dangerous wolves who are feeding on their kill. After the horse dies though the dangerous wolves are just gone but Davy is injured and so camps out on a well traveled road for days. Horrific. The story is disjointed and entirely unbelievable. The acting had no chance to shine because the script and storyline were so ridiculous. Honestly, an elementary student could have written a better story. There is nothing redeeming that I can find. It took me 10 days and utter boredom to suffer through the entire thing.
