Danny Gokey

Danny Gokey, born April 24, 1980, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, first gained national attention as a contestant on "American Idol" (Fox, 2002-2016) where he placed third during the show's eighth season in 2009. Following his Idol success, Gokey launched a music career, releasing his debut album "My Best Days" in 2010. He later transitioned to contemporary Christian music, where he found significant success with albums like "Hope in Front of Me" (2014) and "Rise" (2017), both of which produced chart-topping singles. Gokey's work has earned him multiple Dove Awards and Grammy nominations. Recently, he released the album "Jesus People" (2021) and continues to tour, sharing his inspirational messages through music.
