David A. Arnold
American comedian, writer and showrunner, David A. Arnold was a major presence on stage and behind the curtains of the Los Angeles comedy scene. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 15, 1968. Much of his work was in the writer's room for television shows including "Tyler Perry's House of Payne" (USA, 2006- ), "The Rickey Smiley Show" (USA, 2012-14) and "Fuller House" (Netflix, 2016-20). His career in stand-up comedy lasted for over 25 years and took him all around the country. His first television special "David A. Arnold Fat Ballerina" (Netflix, 2020) was successful with his animated performance and themes on married life and family. He followed it with a second special "David A. Arnold: It Ain't for the Weak" (Netflix, 2022) recorded in his hometown of Cleveland. David A. Arnold was also the creator, writer and producer of the popular show "That Girl Lay Lay" (Nickelodeon, 2021- ).
