David Groh

David Groh was an accomplished actor who appeared in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Groh started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "Irish Whiskey Rebellion" (1973), "Two-Minute Warning" (1976) and the drama "A Hero Ain't Nothin' But a Sandwich" (1978) with Cicely Tyson. He also appeared in the TV movie "Smash-Up on Interstate 5" (ABC, 1976-77). Groh worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Rhoda" (CBS, 1974-79). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the sports drama "Hotshot" (1987) with Jim Youngs and "Return of Superfly" (1990) with Nathan Purdee. He also appeared in the TV special "The Zertigo Diamond Caper" (CBS, 1982-83). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Murder, She Wrote" (CBS, 1984-1996). Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in the thriller "Illegal in Blue" (1995) with Stacey Dash, the David Bradley thriller "White Cargo" (1996) and the Keenen Ivory Wayans action flick "Most Wanted" (1997). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Courthouse" (CBS, 1995-96). He also was featured in the TV movie "Last Exit to Earth" (Showtime, 1995-96). Groh last appeared in "Crash & Burn" (Spike TV, 2007-08). Groh passed away in February 2008 at the age of 69.
