David Neal
David Neal was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Neal started his acting career landing roles in films, such as "Julius Caesar" (1971), "Superman" (1978) and the Sam J. Jones sci-fi fantasy "Flash Gordon" (1980). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Henry IV, Part One" (PBS, 1979-1980) and "The Rothko Conspiracy" (PBS, 1982-83). He also appeared in the TV special "The Infernal Serpent" (PBS, 1990-91). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Hands of a Murderer" (CBS, 1989-1990). Neal focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "Agatha Christie's Poirot" (PBS, 1988-2013) and "Covington Cross" (ABC, 1992-93). Neal focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Jeremy Irons dramatic adaptation "M. Butterfly" (1993) and "Feast of July" (1995) with Embeth Davidtz. He also was featured in the TV movie "The Garden of Redemption" (Showtime, 1996-97). Neal most recently worked on the dramatic adaptation "Under the Sun" (2000) with Rolf Lassgård.
