Dieter Schidor found incredible success as an accomplished actor, appearing in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Schidor's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Inki" (1973), the comedy "Black and White in Color" (1977) with Jean Carmet and "Cross of Iron" (1977) with James Coburn. He also appeared in "Tod Oder Freiheit" (1977), the Romy Schneider drama "Clair de Femme" (1979) and "Der Schneider Von Ulm" (1979). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in the George C Scott suspenseful mystery "The Formula" (1980), the drama "Querelle" (1982) with Brad Davis and the experimental "Der Havarist" (1984) with Burkhard Driest. He also appeared in the Lothar Lambert comedy "Drama in Blond" (1984) and the drama "Kalt In Kolumbien" (1985) with Ulrike S. During the latter half of his career, he continued to act in "Die Liebeswuste" (1986), "Terminus" (1987) and "Atherrausch" (1988). He also appeared in the Kurt Raab comedy "Satansbraten" (1989). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Mussolini: The Decline and Fall of Il Duce" (1985-86). Schidor more recently acted in the Rosel Zech drama "Veronika Voss" (1989).
