Dondré T. Whitfield
Fans of the long-running soap opera "All My Children" (ABC, 1970-2011) recognize Dondre Whitfield for his memorable two-year turn as Terence Frye. Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1969, Whitfield attended the famous High School of Performing Arts, and played semi-pro baseball before landing his first big break as an actor in 1985 when he was cast as Robert Foreman in a six-episode arc on the massively popular sitcom "The Cosby Show" (NBC, 1984-1992). A short stint on the soap "Another World" (NBC, 1964-1999) came in 1989, before Whitfield was cast in his iconic role on "All My Children" in 1991. He would go on to star on a number of shows such as the comedy series "The Crew" (Fox, 1995-96) and "Between Brothers" (Fox, 1997-99) as well as the action thriller series "Secret Agent Man" (UPN, 2000). In 2001, Whitfield took on a prominent starring role in the romantic comedy "Two Can Play That Game" (2001) alongside Vivica A. Fox. Another memorable role would come in 2004 when he returned to his roots as a baseball player for the Bernie Mac sports comedy "Mr. 3000" (2004). He would appear in films like "Pastor Brown" (2009) and "Middle of Nowhere" (2012) and act in an eight-episode arc on the series "Mistresses" (ABC, 2013-16) before joining the cast of the Oprah Winfrey-produced series "Queen Sugar" (OWN, 2016-) in 2016.
