Beloved actor Ed Ames has appeared in various television shows throughout his Hollywood career. Ames worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Daniel Boone" (NBC, 1964-1970) and "The War Wagon" with John Wayne (1967). Then he acted on the series "Murder, She Wrote" (1984-1996), "In the Heat of the Night" (CBS, 1987-1994) and "The Marshal" (ABC, 1994-96). More recently, Ames appeared on "Pioneers of Television" (PBS, 2007-2015). Ed Ames died on May 21, 2023 in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 95.
