Estelle Taylor
Estelle Taylor was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Taylor began her acting career with roles in such films as "Footfalls" (1921), "A Fool There Was" (1922) and "Hollywood" (1923). She also appeared in "The Ten Commandments" (1923) and "The Alaskan" (1924). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the twenties and the thirties, appearing in "Tiger Love" (1924), "Don Juan" (1926) and the comedy "Show People" (1928) with Marion Davies. She also appeared in the drama "Where East Is East" (1929) with Lon Chaney and the adaptation "Cimarron" (1930) with Richard Dix. Nearing the end of her career, she continued to act in the adaptation "Liliom" (1930) with Charles Farrell, the dramatic adaptation "Street Scene" (1931) with Sylvia Sidney and the Ronald Colman romance "The Unholy Garden" (1931). She also appeared in "Call Her Savage" (1932). Taylor more recently acted in "The Southerner" (1945) with Zachary Scott. Taylor's husband was Jack Dempsey. Taylor passed away in April 1958 at the age of 59.
