Filipe Valle Costa

Born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, Filipe Valle Costa fell in love with performing at a young age. He left his native country and attended Graceland University, in Iowa, on a tennis scholarship, intent on making it as an actor in the US. After earning his BA in Theatre, Valle Costa completed an MFA in Acting at the University of Florida, and made the move to New York City. Once in New York, Valle Costa wasted no time, landing roles in Off Broadway productions and founding the Saudade Theatre, to focus on Portuguese plays. In 2015, he appeared in a guest role on an episode of "Gotham" (Fox, 2014-), his first prime time exposure on a network show. The next year, he showed up in an episode of "Blue Bloods" (CBS, 2010-). The year after that, he became a series regular on "Snowfall" (FX, 2017-), playing the heir apparent to one of the crime families as crack cocaine sweeps through 1980's Los Angeles.
