As a rapper, Flo Rida used his musical talents to make a career for himself in Hollywood. Rida's career began with music featured mostly in comedies like the Ben Stiller hit "Tropic Thunder" (2008), the Bradley Cooper hit "The Hangover" (2009) and "The Ugly Truth" (2009) starring Katherine Heigl. An actor as well as a musician, Rida played a part in "So You Think You Can Dance" (Fox, 2004-2015). In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Rida's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the Jaden Smith hit action movie "The Karate Kid" (2010), the drama sequel "Step Up 3-D" (2010) with Rick Malambri and the Emma Stone comedy "Easy A" (2010). Rida's music was also featured in the Anna Kendrick comedy adaptation "Pitch Perfect" (2012), "This Is 40" (2012) and "The Internship" (2013) with Vince Vaughn.
