Fred Travalena was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In the beginning of his Hollywood career, Travalena acted in films like the Gary Busey musical drama "The Buddy Holly Story" (1978). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Mad Mad Mad Mad World of the Super Bowl" (NBC, 1976-77) and "Bob Hope Special: Happy Birthday, Bob!" (NBC, 1977-78). In addition to his voice work, he appeared on camera in "Buy and Cell" (1989). In the eighties and the nineties, Travalena lent his talents to projects like "The 11th Annual ACE Awards" (BET, 1989-1990), "The Billy Martin Celebrity Roast" and "The Comedy Concert II" (The Nashville Network, 1990-91). His credits also expanded to "Warner Bros.' Histeria!" (WB, 1998-2001). Travalena last acted in the Trace Adkins comedy "An American Carol" (2008). Travalena passed away in June 2009 at the age of 67.
