Garland Spencer was an actor who starred in a number of impressive television shows. Spencer began his acting career with roles in sitcoms like "Roc" (Fox, 1990-94). He had an early role on the television special "A Mother's Courage: The Mary Thomas Story" (NBC, 1989-1990). During the early stages of his Hollywood career, Spencer mainly held acting roles in films like the Michael Jackson fantasy "Moonwalker" (1988). Several more television roles followed in the nineties and the early 2000s, including stints on "The Practice" (ABC, 1996-2004) and "American Dreams" (NBC, 2002-05). Following that project, he appeared in the Steve Martin blockbuster romantic comedy "Bringing Down the House" (2003) and "You Got Served" (2004). More recently, he tackled roles on "Just Jordan" (2006-08), "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" (Fox, 2007-09) and "Southland" (2008-2013). He also appeared in the Damon Wayans, Jr. comedic action flick "Dance Flick" (2009). Most recently, Spencer acted on "In the Flow with Affion Crockett" (Fox, 2010-11).
