As a veteran-programming executive for Lifetime, Gena McCarthy proved her steady track record for developing and producing successful series after series - garnering several Emmy nominations and a much-venerated place in the industry. Under her tenure as Senior Vice President of Reality & Alternative Programming of Lifetime Networks since 2010, she expanded the network's scope of reality television, overseeing such hits as "Project Runway" (Lifetime 2009-) and "Dance Moms" (Lifetime 2011-).
