George Carney
George Carney was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Carney began his career with a role in "Night Club Queen" (1934). Carney then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the dramatic adaptation "The Stars Look Down" (1939) with Margaret Lockwood and the romance "I Know Where I'm Going" (1945) with Wendy Hiller. Carney was most recently credited in the Richard Attenborough dramatic adaptation "Brighton Rock" (1951). Carney passed away in December 1947 at the age of 60.
