Glenn Miller brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Miller began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "The Glenn Miller Story" (1954), the Brian Gilbert historical film "Voyage of the D*mned" (1976) and the Peter Falk crime adaptation "The Brink's Job" (1978). His music also appeared in the drama "Stardust Memories" (1980) with Woody Allen. In addition to his music, Miller appeared in the musical comedy "Sun Valley Serenade" (1941) with Sonja Henie and the George Montgomery musical "Orchestra Wives" (1942). Miller was also credited in the Tom Hanks and Elizabeth Perkins blockbuster "Big" (1988), "Ray's Male Heterosexual Dance Hall" with John Achorn (1989) and "Chicago Joe and the Showgirl" (1990). He also was recognized in "Wild At Heart" with Nicolas Cage (1990). Miller's music was most recently used in "Love, Rosie" (2015) with Lily Collins. Miller passed away in December 1944 at the age of 40.
