Guy Usher
Guy Usher was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Usher appeared in such films as the Edna May Oliver crime feature "The Penguin Pool Murder" (1932), "The Big Brain" (1933) and the romance "The Face in the Sky" (1933) with Spencer Tracy. He also appeared in the drama "This Day and Age" (1933) with Charles Bickford, the Eddie Cantor musical comedy "Kid Millions" (1934) and the drama "All of Me" (1934) with Fredric March. He continued to act in productions like "The Spanish Cape Mystery" (1935) with Helen Twelvetrees, "The Case of the Black Cat" (1936) and "Dangerous Waters" (1936). He also appeared in "King of Hockey" (1936). In the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in "Mr. Wong in Chinatown" (1939), "King of Chinatown" (1939) and "Queen of the Yukon" (1940). He also appeared in "I Take This Oath" (1940) and "Doomed to Die" (1940). Usher more recently acted in "Lost Canyon" (1942). Usher passed away in June 1944 at the age of 61.
