Hal K Dawson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. K Dawson's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "Another Language" (1933), the Paul Muni drama "Dr. Socrates" (1935) and the comedy "Libeled Lady" (1936) with Jean Harlow. He also appeared in "My American Wife" (1936), "Public Enemy's Wife" (1936) and "On Again - Off Again" (1937) with Bert Wheeler. His film career continued throughout the forties in productions like "We Who Are Young" (1940), "Cracked Nuts" (1941) and the dramatic adaptation "Life Begins at Eight-Thirty" (1942) with Monty Woolley. He also appeared in the Betty Grable musical "Song of the Islands" (1942). In the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in "Superman and the Mole Men" (1951), the historical feature "Park Row" (1952) with Gene Evans and the John Forsythe crime feature "The Captive City" (1952). He also appeared in "It Grows on Trees" (1952) with Irene Dunne and "The Glenn Miller Story" (1954). K Dawson more recently appeared in "Brock's Last Case" (NBC, 1972-73). K Dawson passed away in February 1987 at the age of 91.
