Hale Hamilton

Hale Hamilton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Hamilton appeared in such films as "The Manicure Girl" (1925), "Tin Gods" (1926) and "Paid" (1930). He also appeared in "Good Intentions" (1930), "Common Clay" (1930) with Constance Bennett and "Dance, Fools, Dance" (1931). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the thirties, appearing in the dramedy "Love Affair" (1932) with Dorothy Mackaill, the Joel McCrea horror feature "The Most Dangerous Game" (1932) and the crime flick "I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang" (1932) with Paul Muni. He also appeared in "Those We Love" (1932). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Curtain at Eight" (1934) with Dorothy Mackaill, "Dr. Monica" (1934) and "Big Hearted Herbert" (1934). He also appeared in the war "The Marines Are Coming" (1934) with William Haines and the Jean Harlow comedy "The Girl From Missouri" (1934). Hamilton last acted in the adventure "The Adventures of Marco Polo" (1938) with Gary Cooper. Hamilton passed away in May 1942 at the age of 59.
