Harry James
Harry James worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Early on in his acting career, James landed roles in various films, including the musical "Springtime in the Rockies" (1942) with Betty Grable, the adaptation "Best Foot Forward" (1943) with Lucille Ball and the Van Johnson musical comedy "Two Girls and a Sailor" (1944). He also appeared in the Red Skelton musical comedy "Bathing Beauty" (1944), the Maureen O'Hara musical "Do You Love Me?" (1946) and the musical "If I'm Lucky" (1946) with Perry Como. His film career continued throughout the fifties and the eighties in productions like the June Allyson adaptation "The Opposite Sex" (1956), "The Ladies' Man" (1961) and "The Sting II" (1982) with Jackie Gleason. James also created music for "Raging Bull" (1980). James was most recently credited in the Jennifer Aniston drama sequel "Rumor Has It..." (2005). James was married to Betty Grable. James passed away in July 1983 at the age of 67.
