Helen Valkis was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Valkis began her career with a role in "The Cherokee Strip" (1937). Valkis then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the adventure "The Prince and the Pauper" (1937) with Bobby Mauch and the dramatic sports film "Sergeant Murphy" (1938) with Ronald Reagan. Later in her career, Valkis acted in "The Old Barn Dance" (1938) with Gene Autry. Valkis passed away in January 1983 at the age of 72.
