Hugh Buckler was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1937, he made his final screen appearance in Frank Capra's "Lost Horizon," which starred Ronald Colman. In 1919, he made his screen debut in the British silent film "The Garden Of Resurrection." In 1923, he appeared in Maurice Elvey's historical drama "Guy Fawkes." Buckler began his career with a role in "Crash Donovan" (1936). Buckler made film his next project, appearing in the adventure "The Jungle Princess" (1936) with Dorothy Lamour. Later in his career, Buckler acted in the action picture "The Last of the Mohicans" (1936) with Randolph Scott. Buckler passed away in October 1936 at the age of 55.
