Hugh Beaumont
Eugene Hugh Beaumont, born February 16, 1909, in Lawrence, Kansas, became widely recognized for his role as the wholesome father, Ward Cleaver, on "Leave It to Beaver" (CBS/ABC, 1957-1963). Before his breakthrough on television, Beaumont appeared in numerous B-movies and film noirs during the 1940s, including roles in "The Mole People" (1956) and "Railroaded!" (1947).
