Ida Moore
Ida Moore was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Moore started her acting career landing roles in such films as "The Merry Widow" (1925) with Mae Murray, the Rod Cameron western "Riders of the Santa Fe" (1944) and "Her Lucky Night" (1945). She also appeared in "To Each His Own" (1946), the Olivia de Havilland mystery "The Dark Mirror" (1946) and "It's a Joke, Son" (1947). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the forties, appearing in the Jane Wyman drama "Johnny Belinda" (1948), "Money Madness" (1948) and "Rusty Leads the Way" (1948). She also appeared in the comedy "Ma and Pa Kettle" (1949) with Marjorie Main. Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the comedic adaptation "The Lemon Drop Kid" (1951) with Bob Hope, "Scandal Sheet" (1952) and "Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder" (1952). She also appeared in the comedy adaptation "The Long, Long Trailer" (1954) with Lucille Ball and the Bing Crosby dramatic adaptation "The Country Girl" (1954). Moore last acted in "Rock-a-Bye Baby" (1958) with Jerry Lewis. Moore passed away in September 1964 at the age of 82.
