Jackie McLean's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of her Hollywood career. McLean began her career with a role in "The Connection" (1962). She went on to act in "Carnegie Hall Salutes the Jazz Masters" (PBS, 1993-94). Later in her career, McLean appeared on "Jazz" (PBS, 2000-01). McLean passed away in March 2006.
