Jacob McCarthy
It wasn't very long after Irish actor Jacob McCarthy's graduation from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2014 that he began nabbing gigs as a professional. Having only performed on the stage throughout his three-year tenure at LAMDA, McCarthy made his screen debut with an episode of the comedy web series "Foursome" (YouTube Red 2016-). From there, he jumped to his feature film debut, "The Drummer and the Keeper" (2017), in which he played a teen with Asperger's syndrome who strikes up an unlikely friendship with a reckless musician. Alongside this starring turn, McCarthy landed another on the sitcom "A.P. Bio" (NBC 2018-), a high school-set comedy costarring Glenn Howerton and Patton Oswalt and created by Seth Meyers, Mike O'Brien and Lorne Michaels.
