James Bush
James Bush was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Bush appeared in such films as the western "Wild Horse Mesa" (1932) with Randolph Scott, "The Great Jasper" (1933) and "One Man's Journey" (1933) with Lionel Barrymore. He also appeared in the Ben Lyon war "Crimson Romance" (1934), "Burn 'Em Up Barnes" (1934) and the Richard Dix western "The Arizonian" (1935). He kept working in film throughout the thirties, starring in "The Return of Peter Grimm" (1935), the mystery "The Lady in Scarlet" (1935) with Reginald Denny and "O'Malley of the Mounted" (1936). He also appeared in "The Glory Trail" (1936). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the fantasy "Beyond Tomorrow" (1940) with Harry Carey, the Stan Laurel comedy "A-Haunting We Will Go" (1942) and the romance "Iceland" (1942) with Sonja Henie. He also appeared in the crime picture "Hangmen Also Die" (1943) with Brian Donlevy and the musical "King of the Cowboys" (1943) with Roy Rogers. Bush was most recently credited in the Harvey Lembeck mystery thriller "Dublin Murders" (1988). Bush passed away in April 1987 at the age of 80.
