Jamison Newlander
Actor Jamison Newlander staked his claim in pop culture history as one of the vampire-hunting Frog brothers in 1987 cult hit film, "The Lost Boys," opposite former 1980s heartthrobs Corey Feldman and the late Corey Haim. While the film earned an immortal place in the horror/thriller genre and helped some of its stars move on to bigger careers, it failed to do the same for Newlander. Born on April 2, 1970 in Woodland Hills, CA, Newlander began acting in his teens. He graduated from Beverly Hills High School and went on to get a bachelors degree in fine arts at New York University. While in college, Newlander appeared in a number of stage productions in New York, Vermont, Kentucky and California. He also wrote an award-winning playwright, "Remember This" (1986), which ran at the Actors Theatre in Louisville, KY. Newlander had a minor role in "The Blob" (1988), a remake of the sci-fi thriller about a mysterious life form that crashes on a small California town and grows to gargantuan proportions as it digests the residents.
