Heifetz found Heifetz's beginnings in film with roles in "They Shall Have Music" (1939) and the drama "Carnegie Hall" (1947) with Marsha Hunt. Heifetz also appeared in "Carnegie Hall at 100: A Place of Dreams" (PBS, 1990-91), "Schindler's List" (1993) starring Liam Neeson and "The Art of Violin" (PBS, 2001-02). More recently, Heifetz appeared on "Jascha Heifetz: God's Fiddler" (2011). Heifetz was married to Florence Vidor.
