Adair's career began with a role in the comedy adaptation "Arsenic and Old Lace" (1944) with Cary Grant. Adair made film his next project, appearing in the Gene Kelly comedic drama "Living in a Big Way" (1947). Toward the end of his career, Adair acted in the musical comedy "Something in the Wind" (1947) with Deanna Durbin. Jean Adair passed away in May 1953 at the age of 80.
