Jean Duceppe was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Duceppe started off his career in film with roles in "Act of the Heart" (1970), the drama "Mon Oncle Antoine" (1971) with Jacques Gagnon and "Les Colombes" (1972). Duceppe began to focus on film after appearing in the historical drama "Quelques arpents de neige..." (1972) with Daniel Pilon, "Les Beaux Dimanches" (1974) and "Les Vautours" (1978). He also appeared in "Lucien Brouillard" (1983). Later in his career, Duceppe acted in "Le Vieillard et l'enfant" (1985).
