Jessica Dinnage
Danish actress Jessica Dinnage burst on the scene in her native Scandinavia and watched her reputation spread quickly throughout the rest of the world. Her debut film, Charlotte Sieling's "The Man (2017), about a father-son relationship set against the Copenhagen art scene, was a favorite on the festival circuit. The actress gained international acclaim using nothing but her voice in Gustav Moller's tense thriller "The Guilty" (2018), which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival. Dinnage played the victim of a domestic kidnapping whose emergency call leads a former police officer (Jakob Cedergren) to race against the clock to figure out where she is being held. Dinnage was never seen on camera, yet helped establish the film's palpable tension. The actress then turned to television, taking a role in the post-apocalyptic thriller "The Rain" (Netflix, 2018-), playing one of the survivors after a rain-borne virus wipes out most of the world's population.
