Playing out in ‘real’ time, the film feels refreshing and unpredictable. We almost forget that this is a film, and not real life unfolding before our very eyes. Please remember, that this is just a film and don’t forget to breathe.

It’s an impressive debut from Swedish filmmaker Gustav Möller, who uses his single location superbly. He isolates Asger within the frame as the tensions build and uses pauses and telephone silence to ratchet up the anxiety.

This danish movie (also made in English), is one of my favourites. I remember first time watching it, I was so confused, and a lot of the things that happens came as a big surprise. So I had to rewatch it, to catch on the all the spoilers throughout the movie. I love how it’s almost only one person the whole movie, then you know it’s a strong concept. Sometimes I think about this movie, and then I watch it, and it’s a pleasure every single time.

Assistindo simultaneamente, porém alternadamente o original (2018) e a versão de 2021, ótimos diálogos, muito original, todo o clima de tensa ao atender as vítimas, ou emputecido com atendimentos banais, e além da incompreensão em seus relacionamentos pessoais… Muito bom, assim como a refilmagem americana de 2021, que conseguiu manter a fidelidade da obra, apesar do protagonista mais grosseiro e estressado, chuva alterada por grande incêndio, mudança no desfecho do bebê, excelente filme...
