      Joan Chandler was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Chandler's career beginnings included film roles in the dramatic adaptation "Humoresque" (1946) with Joan Crawford and "Rope" (1948) with James Stewart. Chandler began to focus on film after appearing in "The Street With No Name" (1948) with Mark Stevens, "Dragstrip Riot" (1958) and the Robert H Harris horror flick "How to Make a Monster" (1958). More recently, Chandler worked on the comedy "Uncorked" (2001) with Minnie Driver.
