Joe Yamanaka made his mark in the world of entertainment when he acted in the Ken Howard drama "Ulterior Motives" (1992). In 1964, he made his acting debut in "Car Thieves." In 2002, he starred in "Deady Outlaw: Rekka" and also composed the soundtrack. In 1969, he joined the Japanese psychedelic band Flower Travellin' Band.
