John Boyle
John Boyle was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Boyle started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "Lady By Choice" (1934), the dramatic comedy "Jane Austen in Manhattan" (1980) with Anne Baxter and the comedy "Night Shift" (1982) with Henry Winkler. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Cheers" (NBC, 1982-1993). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Water Engine" (TNT, 1991-92). He also appeared in the TV special "America Behind Closed Doors" (CBS, 1991-92). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in "Casual Sex?" (1988). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2001-2011). Most recently, Boyle directed "America's Ballroom Challenge" (2005-08).
