Johnny Desmond
Johnny Desmond was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Desmond marked his early career with roles in "Sally" (NBC, 1957-58) and the Victor Mature romance "China Doll" (1958). Later, Desmond acted in "Your Hit Parade" (1958-59), the Michael Cole sci-fi flick "The Bubble" (1966) and "Blansky's Beauties" (ABC, 1976-77). He also appeared in "Echoes of the Big Bands With Merv Griffin" (PBS, 1989-1990). Desmond was most recently credited in "Soldiers in Greasepaint: The Happy War of the USO" (History, 1998-99). Desmond passed away in September 1985 at the age of 66.
