Jon Matthews
Jon Matthews was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "Nurse" (CBS, 1979-1980). He also was featured in the miniseries "George Washington" (1983-84). In the beginning of his Hollywood career, Matthews acted in films like the comedy "Where the Buffalo Roam" (1980) with Peter Boyle. He also appeared in the TV special "Just Tipsy, Honey" (ABC, 1988-89). Following that project, he appeared in the crime feature "Heathers" (1989) with Winona Ryder and the drama "Listen to Me" (1989) with Kirk Cameron. Matthews had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties, including "An Audience With Jackie Mason" (PBS, 1991-92), "And the Band Played On" (HBO, 1993-94) and "The Secret World of Alex Mack" (Nickelodeon, 1994-98). Matthews more recently acted in the Will Smith smash hit action movie "Independence Day" (1996).
