Joss Stone wowed the music world in 2003 as a sprightly 16-year-old British girl with a rich soulful R&B voice, which she rode to Grammy and BRIT Awards. Her early fame, showbiz squabbles and coming-of-age in the public eye made her British tabloid fodder in ensuing years, especially as she transformed herself from their soulful girl next-door to seemingly troubled, perpetually barefoot bad girl.
