Katherine Jackson

Born in Clayton, Alabama on May 4, 1930, Katherine Esther Jackson (born as Kattie B. Screws) tried to become a country singer and an actress without notable results. On November 5, 1949 she married Joseph "Joe" Jackson. They had 10 children; including Jackie Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, Marlon Jackson and Michael Jackson, members of the band The Jackson 5, and the famous pop singers Janet and La Toya Jackson. In 1990, she released her autobiography "My Family, The Jacksons". After Michael Jackson died in 2009, Katherine has taken care of his kids.
