Doe-eyed and pretty Canadian actress Katie Findlay often landed roles that beguiled television viewers with her girl-next door looks on shows such as "The Carrie Diaries" (The CW, 2013-14) and "How to Get Away with Murder" (ABC 2014- ). Findlay was born on August 28, 1990 in Windsor, Ontario. Her first true passion was ballet, training extensively for twelve years before a back injury forced her to quit and begin pursuing acting. In 2010, she landed her first network gigs in guest appearances in an episode of supernatural series "Fringe" (Fox 2008-2013) and later on detective comedy series "Psych" (USA 2006-2014). In the following year Findlay literally became the face of a television series when she was cast as Rosie Larsen, the missing girl who was the central case in "The Killing" (AMC 2011-13; Netflix, 2014). Although she only appeared in half of the first two season's episodes, Findlay's Rosie was used prominently for the show's unsettling promotional poster, which juxtaposed the missing girl's wholesome image with the words "Who Killed Rosie Larsen?" in blood red. Findlay's next television series was more lighthearted as she landed a role on The CW's "The Carrie Diaries," a prequel to the hit series "Sex and the City" (HBO 1998-2004). The show centered around a teenaged Carrie Bradshaw and featured Findlay as Maggie Landers, one of Carrie's high school best friends. In 2014, Findlay was cast in the Shonda Rhimes-produced legal drama "How to Get Away with Murder" (ABC 2014- ). Unlike her previous roles, Findlay played a troubled, nose-pierced, bartender named Rebecca who was pulled into the mystery surrounding the murder of a popular student.
