Kenny Baker
Kenneth Laurence Baker was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Baker landed roles in various films, including the Warner Baxter musical "King of Burlesque" (1935), the musical comedy "Mr. Dodd Takes the Air" (1937) with Frank McHugh and "The King and the Chorus Girl" (1937). He also appeared in "Radio City Revels" (1938). He continued to act in productions like the Adolphe Menjou musical "The Goldwyn Follies" (1938), the Groucho Marx comedy "At the Circus" (1939) and the John Barclay comedy adaptation "The Mikado" (1939). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Hit Parade of 1941" (1940) with Frances Langford, "Silver Skates" (1943) and the musical "The Harvey Girls" (1946) with Judy Garland. Baker last acted in "Calendar Girl" (1947). Baker passed away in August 1985 at the age of 73.
