Actor Kin Shriner got his start in acting when he was just nine years old. Shriner's acting career began with roles in action films like "Kidnapped" (1987) and the Maud Adams film "Angel III: The Final Chapter" (1988). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Texas" (NBC, 1979-1983). He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for "General Hospital" in 1989. In the eighties and the nineties, Shriner devoted his time to various credits, such as "War and Remembrance" (1988-89), "The 17th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" (ABC, 1989-1990) and "Escape" (1990). He also worked on "The Skateboard Kid II" (1995). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "The General Hospital 35th Anniversary Show" (ABC, 1997-98). Most recently, Shriner acted in the comedy adaptation "Hoot" (2006) with Luke Wilson.
