Laura Hayes

Laura Hayes was an accomplished actress, noted for her comedic timing in her roles for television shows. Hayes's acting career began with roles in the series "Martin" (1991-97), "Comicview" (BET, 1992-2014) and "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" (ABC, 1992-97). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Sinbad & Friends All the Way Live ... Almost" (ABC, 1991-92) and "Bad Girls of Def" (HBO, 1993-94). She continued to work steadily in sitcoms throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing on "The Parent 'Hood" (WB, 1994-99), "The Parkers" (UPN, 1998-2004) and "Malcolm in the Middle" (Fox, 1999-2006). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "All of Us" (2003-07), "The Sarah Silverman Program" (Comedy Central, 2006-2010) and "Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns" (TBS, 2008-2012). She also appeared in "Beauty Shop" (2005). Hayes most recently worked on the dramatic adaptation "Byzantium" (2013) with Gemma Arterton.
